The Moon

Not quite sure what it is about the moon and my youngest daughter. She LOVES the moon. She can spot it at almost any time of the day. And she gets so excited about it.

She will sing to it and will talk to it. Tell it about her day.

She got to spend this weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's house without her sisters. And for some reason, I was missing her terribly at dinner and into the evening. Normally it's not this hard on me to separate from the girls because I know that they are being well taken care of. But for some reason...I missed my tiny girl something big.

Then I got in the car to make my long drive by myself and saw the moon. Her moon. Bigger and brighter than I have seen it in a while. And it made me miss her more and feel as if she was coming with me in some way.

This summer I plan on studying the moon with her and her sisters. I hope the night I choose to lay out under the stars and study the moon, it's as beautiful as it was tonight. My Violet Moon.
