The Birthday Girl

This wonderful blessing from God came into my life 5 years ago today. It was a very long weekend of contractions that wouldn't come any closer than a half hour apart. Compared to my first pregnancy, this was torture (I was induced with the first one, no waiting around).

Then she started to grow and grow and grow. We learned that she's a Grandma's girl. She learned that there's a lot to learn from her big sister.

 Quite I'm trying to watch the movie.

 This is Waldo and Uncle Bob.

                                                                                     Trying on Daddy's belt.

 Stuck her fingernail through her ear.

And then she had a little sister and got to pass down the knowledge.

 She will always be our little girl that made us smile so much.

And drove her sister crazy.

Wonder what she'll be when she grows up.

No matter where she goes or what she does, she'll always have her sisters along for the ride.

Thank you Lord for blessing me with these 5 wonderful years.

Can't wait to see what the next 5, 10, 50 will hold for us.
